While each hat is designed to be modelled by Gertie, of course there is no restriction on how you use each hat design - and it is a simple task to increase or decrease the size to suit your own creations.
Electronic or Snail Mail
Gertie and each hat pattern is crafted specifically for downloading. We do offer a snail mail option as well where we print your pattern and send it to you via the post. Of course, when you download there is no postage and there is no cost to print and pack the design which means we can pass savings on to you.
Hat Club Online Special
When you purchase the Online version of the Hat Club you will receive a 15% membership discount, will not be charged postage, you will receive you initial patterns within seconds of your order being processes and you will receive your new hat patterns by email about one week before the standard paper version.
How often will I get a hat pattern?
Members of the Hat Club receive a pattern for a hat designed to be shown on Gertie the Hat Model every couple of months - six a year.
What patterns will I get?
When you first join you will receive a copy of Gertie the Hat Model, the hat Gertie is modelling on the photograph and Gerties’ Cloche Hat – the first in the series. From then on you will receive another pattern every two months. There are currently 14 hats on offer (plus the one that comes with Gertie) so it will take about two years to collect the lot. Of course, Rondél is always adding new designs.

What if I am impatient and want them now?
You can always purchase hat designs separately by visiting the online store and placing an order.
How do I download and print?
Hat club patterns are emailed as Adobe PDF files. If you do not have the free versions of Adobe reader please click the links to install them on your computer. If you are purchasing hat patterns directly from this website you will receive a compressed file and may need a utility like winzip. Winzip is included for free with the Google toolbar and Google desktop search. If you need these tools here are the links to get them for free;

Pricing for this pattern subscription is in Australian dollars and Air Mail Shipping is from Melbourne, Australia. Note that the shipping fee covers postage for six patterns over twelve months.
